Blackboard migrates to Virginia server

Dear Faculty, Blackboard has been running since late Saturday morning in Virginia. I have had a few problems reported from faculty over the weekend, but this morning most faculty and students are logging in. The course content was successfully transferred for most files, but if you notice anything missing, be sure to notify one of our two Blackboard server administrators: Rezaul Hoque (ext. 4991) or Julio Henriquez (ext. 4992). They will report the problem to 57th Street to be resolved. It is important to make them aware of any problems right away.

Also, be sure to access Blackboard via the portal (www.cuny.edu). The backdoor URL does not work since it does not access the Virginia server. Thank you.
